NASA telescope Determines Numerous Possibly Habitant Planets

The mission manager of the NASA telescope, Kepler, Roger Hunter, explained that the NASA's telescope has succeeded in determining 503 new potential alien planets.

The researcher stated that most of these planets are habitable. He described some of these planets are smaller in size and some of them exist in the livable zone of their stars. However, he suggested that most of the work still requires some efforts to verify their results.

The researcher belongs to NASA's Ames Research Center. The new discovery described that Kepler's tally of new planet have reached a number of 3,216. However, only 132 of the potential planets have been justified of to continue with the date of remark.

However, the scientists concerning with the mission believe that a minimum of 90% of the star will end being of a real use.

Researchers revealed the new lot of information was deduced from the observations extracted by the Kepler during the time span of May 2009 to March 2012. The telescope failed to continue its hunt for the planets after its orientation stop keeping with the maintenance of the system.

The Kepler spacecraft have caused an expense of USD 600 million and was launched in March 2009. Kepler worked for around 3.5 years and discovered some usual Earth-like planets in the Milky Way galaxy.
