Cairn India plans mangroves on coastal land - Indian Express

Cairn India, in collaboration with the state's Forest department, will develop mangrove plantation across 100 hectares of coastal land in and around the Marine National Park. The area that will be covered under this drive is in Sikka, Khambaliya and Kalyanpur block around Jamnagar and Dev Bhoomi Dwarka districts, stated an official release here on Saturday.

Cairn India is planning similar eco-friendly initiatives in districts like Rajkot, Patan, Bharuch, Surendranagar and Surat by means of an in-principle agreement reached with the district administrations.
