CUTTACK: Was the disaster in Uttarakhand a result of climate change? Will we see more natural disasters in coming years due to climate change? How can we save energy and conserve water? These were some of the questions posed by students to the communicators aboard Science Express train, which chugged into Cuttack on Friday.

The young minds were so fascinated to see the treasure trove of knowledge on display that they went on a question-asking spree out of curiosity. And even the communicators did not let them down. The mobile exhibition train has turned out to be a big hit in the city. On Saturday, hordes of students and visitors went around on t he train to get a glimpse of the huge biodiversity that is India.

The train Science Express - 'Biodiversity special', an initiative of department of science and technology and Union ministry of environment and forests, aims at creating awareness on unique biodiversity of India, climate change and related issues among various sections of society, especially students.
