New Delhi: NASA's Hubble Space Telescope has recently spotted a galaxy estimated to be over 60 million light years away from the Earth.

NASA has released the image of the mysterious galaxy.

Dubbed as IC335, the distant galaxy is located in the Fornax Galaxy Cluster.

As seen in the image, it is difficult to identify the disk of IC 335 as it appears on its edge from the Earth.

Astronomers have classified the galaxy as an S0 type. S0 types are lenticular galaxies, which are an intermediate state in galaxy that actually falls in between a true spiral and an elliptical galaxy.
